This is the normal status of my Ooma Telo since February. No dial tone just a consistent annoying busy signal. I’ve been on the phone with customer service multiple times and have spent around 2 hours of my Verizon Wireless minutes trying to resolve the situation. I was told by a higher level technician to just cancel the account and return the item to Best Buy. Best Buy of course rejected a full refund since the item was bought in September 2010. Contacted customer service once again to hold them accountable for the wrong information I was given. Was told to reactivate the account for . Pushed for a reactivation without paying for the fee for good reason. Account reactivated but without a dial tone. Here’s the rub. I lost my job in November 2010. We bought the Ooma in September to save money for the needs of our newborn daughter. I am stuck with a 0 device that’s worth 7 cans of baby formula because customer service cannot give me a dial tone and Best Buy and the sales department refuse to give me a refund because of their ‘policies.’ What’s a new mom gotta do?

How to get Internet access at work from d-link?
I have been trying to get Internet access at work with no luck. They have d-link dir655 and I was wondering if there is any way I cam figure out the password for the admin user or anything at all. I tried leaving the password blank and tried entering the ip address but still no luck. Help please. Thank you

Its probably a WPA-2 encryption, so no. Plus you would be fired for trying. Just try to convince the IT department to give it to you.

Not in Theory but it would be a good idea to get another router to help manage the load… see if you have 10 computers on the same router all the traffic is being managed by on chip and one board that has to hold all of the network addresses etc. so if you get another router to help manage your network you will probably see less dissconnections as well as an increase in speed…

The Trend Is Indeed Your Friend, But When A Trend Is A Trend
The trend is your friend is a common and known sentence among many traders, speculators and investors. It has indeed some truth in it but there are several other important and often neglected questions, which you need to be asking yourself before investing in something. It is true that trends, after they are properly set, tend to continue for a long time. But the real question is: how do you know for sure that a trend is indeed set?

This might look really easy to do when you look in retrospect. You call some indicators on your favorite technical analysis software, add up some numbers and then say See, there is a nice and beautiful trend. Ok, like I said, it is easy in retrospect, but try to imagine yourself looking at that same chart in the beginning of that trend, when it was just starting. Now it does not look so easy to figure out that this trend was indeed a profitable one.

That is the problem with many traders, while looking at retrospect everything looks quite easy to identify and profit from it. Especially with the use of some ready-made indicators that come as default in almost any technical analysis software these days. You know these ones: MACD, RSI, Stochastics, etc. They all try to gather sufficient data and then come up with just a single line to indicate when you should buy, when you should sell and when you should stay on the sidelines.

But if you have been trading for a while now, you know that this is far from truth. When looking in retrospect, yes, all these indicators look like they are really accurate and that you could use them for your future trades. But if you try to use them today, without knowing what will happen tomorrow, they might mislead you to the wrong path and you might end up losing money. So, make sure you do a full research on how exact are these indicators and how to use them according to market conditions.

patriot ram is really good brand i love them same with corsair no problem with both great products but if you want good speed or anything try to get a 2.0 latency… also i hope your not buying those retail?? 2x 1gb would be like $ 205 if you get the 2.0 latency wow patriot memory is more expensive than i thought but here check out newegg unless your already there looking for prices

Patriotic Symbols As Flash Drives

Let’s think of patriotic items. Are you visualizing a bumper sticker with a proudly displayed motto? Or a wind-kissed flag in the front yard? What you probably aren’t seeing are USB flash drives. But guess what, these everyday gadgets can be a great and creative way of showing patriotism and national origin.

Let’s say you’re in the US military and need to transport files at your base or save a letter to your loved ones while being deployed. Why not use a Statue of Liberty memory stick? Super Talent has released an almost painstakingly accurate model with a ratio of 330:1. For the flash drive that comes to about 110 mm length, 37 mm width and 30 mm height. And coming down to the green, the color is accurate too.

Of course patriotic items don’t have to be shaped as famous buildings. What can also work great as patriotic symbols are custom inscribed flash drives. They’re available with printed-on flags for every country imaginable. Or you could have them labelled with national mottos or patriotic symbols of your choice. Like a bald-headed eagle for the US or a red maple leaf for Canada. Or how about a cuckoo clock for Germany and a three-leafed clover for Ireland, the so called shamrock?

To get on the humorous side you could substitute the eagle with a hamburger and the maple leaf for Canadian bacon. Then the cuckoo clock could be replaced with lederhosen and the shamrock with a leprechaun.

If you’d also like to show your animal loving side you could get a memory stick with an animal photo on it. For instance, there’s lovely imprints of kangaroos that could make nice jump drives for Australian surfers. Or Bengal tigers that could prey on data for Indian programmers. There’s also flash drives with proud panda depictions that may be great savers for Chinese computer experts.

As usual with USB memory sticks, opportunities are endless to provide a great user and spectator experience. Using them as patriotic symbols can be added to the list now. Whether they’re shaped as national sights or show your country’s colors – they all can stick proud in the gallery of patriotic items.
